GASI has retaliated the onslaught of the enemy. [HEW] The G.S.S attack on the HEW was a horrendous idea. The GSS fleet is no match for the Wardian fleet, the Wardian fleet is larger, more coordinated, and better armed. The GSS advance is struck down by railgun strikes, while the Wardian rear hails for a small detachment of GASI stealth ships to intercept GSS Stealth Ships. Liberating HEW is not an easy task, as they have joined the GASI hive partly, and are an autonomous zone of GASI. Also bro are you seriously using wave tactics??? HEW shall engage with the GSS in a war of attrition they can't win. [The Sphere] GASI forces engage in ambushes on the Sphere's forces, particularly using Stealth Escort Battlecarriers to skirmish with the enemy, distracting them from the main force already on its way. Railguns and Phasers batter the enemy, leaving an ever-shrinking number of the Sphere's forces to resist the momentum of the GASI invasion. GASI FTL recon allows us to pinpoint resting and reloading Citadels to ambush, making the shoot and scoot tactics somewhat ineffective. GASI deploys large numbers of screening ships to shoot down warp torpedoes while the fleet is travelling sub-light. The Voidian bombardments will make it difficult to establish a reliable production of military gear, and stealth convoy interdiction hinders supplies. GASI forces steer clear of Sphere forces heading towards them, preferring to ambush and butcher than to engage in a fair fight. [Maros] GASI forces strike Maros, aiming to quickly break their spirits with overwhelming firepower and dealing apocalyptic casualties in as little fighting as possible. Heavy FTL recon allows GASI fleets to already be out of the way when the Marosians fire, and be on interception courses before the enemy even knows we're there. Stealth ships launch hit and run attacks on convoy chokepoints, disabling their ability to effectively supply. [The RRN] The RRN's defensive lines are not as effective as they might have hoped. The Railgun Orbitals are first struck by Strike Ships. What did you expect? You think our capital ships are out there as a screening force, doing recon??? No, those orbitals are basically obsolete. Even if the RRN forces can arrive to the frontlines rapidly, that makes feints and skirmishes highly effective, granting a grace period to GASI forces. Additionally, the deadly nature of GASI strike ships and battlecruisers makes just showing up not enough. GASI ships have extensive PDC capabilities, allowing them to quickly destroy drone swarms, and frigates wouldn't stand a chance against heavier, larger GASI ships. When the dreadnoughts arrive, they are met with only destruction. Phasers and railguns launch deadly barrages on the enemy dreadnoughts, destroying the bulky and expensive ships. The dreadnoughts would hardly have a chance to actually destroy our ships. Even if RRN missiles take out the Strike Ships, the phaser strikes have already been made. GASI forces reinforce the Wardians while RRN begins to crumble, with a disconnected hypocritical leadership the RRN people will shatter any day now. [Domus] GASI forces are holding the line in Domus, waiting for Voidian forces to arrive as relief forces. [Toad] GASI hasn't attacked the Toad Empire yet, and is waiting for the weaker nations to collapse under pressure before amassing a large enough force to run an invasion.
Note to self, do not start a galactic war while burnt out. Sorry, I don't have a lot of motivation today.
