sorry if this comes off as rude but ive needed to say this for a long time okay so dont get me wrong. i love the essa community mostly. its pretty nice and accepting on the whole. but i really dont like how a lot of people think essas can only be animals. including some of my literal fav yters btw. dont come to me saying "oh essa stands for emotional support stuffed ANIMAL!! use esp instead!!!!1!!" SYHM LIL BRO. i gen hate the label esp, no hate if you use it, but I DONT WANT TO CALL MY ESSA AN EMOTIONAL SUPPORT PLUSHIE / COMFORT PLUSHIE. plus its called an essa bc stuffed animal is a SYNONYM FOR PLUSHIE. OMT I DONT KNOW WHY I NEED TO SAY THIS BECAUSE IN A COMMUNITY REVOLVING AROUND STUFFED ANIMALS WE SHOULD KNOW THIS. oh and l dont want any lil timmys in the comments saying "i-its not that deep tho" OKAY?? IDC WHAT YOU THINK. THIS IS MY OPINION AND IN MY OPINION IT HURTS WHEN PEOPLE SAY THAT OBJECT/HUMAN/NON-ANIMAL PLUSHIES CANT BE ESSAS AND IF YOU THINK THIS WAY YOU CAN SHUSH AND LEAVE MY ACC. i dont want to hear it because my freaking sticker plushie gives me more comfort than my douglas dogs atm so obviously they can be essas. we dont need to exclude people from a label we collectively made on the internet. come on now. because being real ANY plushie can be an essa, just admit you dont want ppl with non-animal plushies in your community ✌️
