Today, I took Dancer out for a quick flatwork session in our renovated outdoor arena! We have been undergoing renovations in the pastures, arenas, and we've built a wash bay. This arena is about three times as big as the old one, and is so much better for jumping bigger, and doing more complex courses. Anyways, back to the update, I did some basic dressage at the walk, and then did the same at the trot, and at the canter. We did some half passes, shoulder ins and outs, haunches in and out, and collections as well as extensions. We couldn't do much more, since I don't yet have dressage tack for him yet, but we will get some and I hope to do some more dressage with him, as he's a star in it <3.
