This will be used for a future project. Currently, A3-3 is unfunctional. The core thermal power is not simulated and is instead based on the position of all the control rods in the core. it is used the automatic control rods. Hovering over labels will translate them and explain their purpose STARTUP: To start, first switch the automatic regulator on and type 1500 into the keypad before approving it by pressing the green button next to it. Then, select the control rods you want. It is advised to select around 8. Then, click and hold the lower of the part of the joystick and continue that until the middle indicator for "Average position of selected control rods" is 0% OR core thermal power reaches close to 1500 MW. Automatic regulators will do the rest. You can see their position on the left. In order to SCRAM, or emergency shutdown the reaction, press the A3-5 button. Then, wait for thermal core power to reach 0 and for all the control rod position indicators to reach 100%. Then, you may deselect the control rods and then, in the bottom left, click the left-most button first then the button right of that in order to mute and reset the alarms and their indicators.
Thanks to @theopatate for inspiration This is not meant to be ultra-realistic, but just the right level of complexity and understandability in order to make the future game fun. Reactor model is based off the RBMK. A3-3 = Partial Emergency Shutdown A3-5 = Full Emergency Shutdown AP = Automatic Regulator rods active AP LIMIT = Automatic regulator rods are at their limit of either 0% or 100%, and the operator must use the manual rods to assist them.
