I didn’t really think much about it why she was crying while I was drawing her. She doesn’t have a story. You can interpret her tears any way you want. Maybe she sees a lost loved one in the stars, I don’t know. Tell me what you think about her, why do you think she’s crying?
This was my second successful watercolor portrait and I’m really happy with it. I started out with just a regular sketch like last time, then painted it, but I wasn’t really happy with how it looked against the background, so I decided to play to my strengths and draw the background digitally, and I’m really happy I did.
