Extended and backstory: his birthday is November 7th, weighs 157.3 pounds (in muscle), and is 5'6". A son of Hephaestus. Biologically male, he/him, slightly aromantic. He is straight. He has heterochromia, as depicted in the "Looks" section. When he was claimed by Hephaestus, his father gave him the hoodie. He does not have any fire-related powers besides just being heatproof. He has the power of metallopathy (the ability to "talk" to a metal and know its properties instantly, like composition and tensile strength). Cannot be hurt by heat until about 2500 degrees C, and gets minor burns at ~2505 degrees. Isn't good with machines and electricity. Backstory: he was very lonely in elementary school, and he thought it was normal to be a metallopath, which he was bullied for. (Little did he know, those bullies were monsters). On his 15th birthday, his mom got him a cheap, plastic harmonica for toddlers. (His mom was bitter because Hephaestus left her when she was still pregnant, and now hates Chet because of that.) His metallopathy led him to run away, and to a forge shop. It was the middle of the night, so no one was there, and it was the best place he's ever been in. When he went over to the furnace, there were hot coals, and one of them shot right at him. He blocked with his hand, and found he was heat-proof. After he turned 16, he started working there, learning how to forge metal and, unfortunately for him, ceramic. But monsters started attacking the shop, and a satyr named Heath took him to camp Half-Blood. He started forging a metal pot as soon as he got there, and Hephaestus immediately claimed him.
