He’d just been made a warrior, and was wondering what he was going to do with his life, now that Delphine was gone. He wanted to be the best warrior for his Clan, yes…but what was he fighting for? He was soon going to find out, and have his life changed forever. While on patrol near UrchinClan border, he heard a desperate mewling sound, calling out from under a bush. Antlionescalade padded after the sound, ears pricked and alert. There, under the bush, he found a dead she-cat, thin as a twig, and still as a stone. She had died of starvation. A tattered, strikingly pink tendril hung around her neck, a brass bell tinkling weakly on the end, stirred by the breeze. A kittypet. Abandoned by her Twolegs. She didn’t know how to hunt, and starved. But he sniffed her ragged body. She had the faint scent of milk! Then, he heard the mewling again, more desperate than before. And curled up beside her body, he found three tiny kits, not even a week old. Ari was overwhelmed with emotion. What to do? Well, bring them back to camp, of course! After burying their kittypet mother, Ari quickly rushed the kits back to camp. He nursed them back to health, and slowly, grudgingly, began to bond with the little scraps. Only then did he realize…he had just committed to fatherhood. And he was happy. Please put it in your application! — Please don’t guilt trip or bring others, including yourself, down! — If I feel like you are not following these rules or are missing something in your application, I have the right to deny or tell you to remake your application! — Most of all, have fun! ⊱───✦・┊❏ iii - Meet the Parent ꕀ・┊〃──⊰◇ Now, without further ado, I present the father… Antlionescalade He/him Ari / Dad / Daddy / etc. Antlionescalade is a young dad, not much older than a child himself. Because of this, he’s kind of finicky about using fatherly terms, and prefers for his kids to call him Ari, just like everyone else. But he wants to make it clear he is a father, not an older brother figure. When others are around, he goes by Dad, and lets his kits call him Dad or Daddy when there is an audience. Parenting style: Ari isn’t sure how to be a good parent. He was orphaned as a kit and is still considerably young, so he will have to work things out as he goes along. He will try to mold his kits into the best cats they can be, but will be pretty chill and loose with them, letting them figure out things on their own. This means that some essential skills might be untouched or underdeveloped. But Ari is just trying his best. He’ll die for his kits, and he expects them to do the same for each other. ⊱───✦・┊❏ iv - Meet the Kits ꕀ・┊〃──⊰◇ Now for the best part! Ari has found three tiny babies, all waiting for you to apply for them :) Oldest: TAKEN BY Glorykit AFAB 10" Tall " A silky-toned, gray-and-reddish tabby she cat pads up to you, her soft amber eyes gleaming. A clear symbol of the sun appears to be on her light-colored chest. Why is that, do you think? Antlionescalde named her Glorykit in hopes that a glorious dawn with come forth from her arrival. Perhaps she will be Clan leader when she grows up. Anything is possible!" Disabilities? - No Middle: Honorkit AMAB 13" "A golden-pattered tom, quite on the tall side, strides up to you. His classic tabby flank is peppered in black markings, and his legs fade to muddy brown, with one white paw. His turquoise eyes are filled with excitement. He's always on his paws! Antlionescalde has named this little warrior Honorkit, in hopes that the young kit's father's ambitious and dangerous image would be tempered by a peaceful, honorable warrior someday...one many would look up to."
