If any one of you says 67 in the comments, I will smite you…… OPERATION FLAMING NIGHTINGALE The High Order of Ukraine is out for vengeance and power. Twice is the 20th century Romania attacked Ukraine (Or it’s host in Russia) seeking nothing but greed and power. Once in 1918, and once in 1941. But now, free from its chains of the soviet order, Ukraine is ready for revenge against Romania. Before the war, Ukraine puts out tons and tons of propaganda and threats against Belarus, calling it the “Evil Successor to russia” and sending a public ultimatum threatening to declare war, but in reality, our army is stationed on the Romanian border under heavy tree cover as not to be seen or detected. Transnistria is also secretly recruited, promising semi-autonomy to them if they survive the war, which we know is practically a mathematical impossibility. Then, on December 1st, Romanian national day, when all peoples are busy celebrating independence and not thinking about the threat that is thought to be aimed at Belarus, strikes. 3 army divisions, of the Ground Corps of Ukraine are marched across the border north and west of the Carpathian Mountains. Transnistria is ordered to hold its ground and provided little support, save for volunteers and two spearheads aimed to cut off Moldova from Romania. The Ukranian Navy stationed in Sevastopol (After it’s recapturing from the Russians after their war) Is fairly large and very capable for its size, but is still outnumbered by the Romanian navy, which is split into two. Knowing this, the Ukranian navy employs a strategy much like what is uses modern day, which is to pick off the navy in smaller pieces. First, Ukraine uses radio jamming systems to separate the boats from contacting each other, then heads straight for the smaller of the two navies. With sea drone warfare and submarine’s with torpedos we threaten the navy into surrender, and tell them if they surrender the whole boat they will be spared, and if not, we sink them. After the first fleet is dealt with we send our entire, slightly larger fleet down south to chase the other fleet back to shore where we threaten and defeat them as well. We chase the dwindling fleet back to constanta where we corner them and commandeer and more port boats to help the effort. Our navy stays stationed in Constanta for now to keep the people at bay and secure the Romanian navy from causing any more troubles. The Moldovan campaign is set so that their only choice of attack is our “weakest” spot, Odessa, but really we station about a hundred thousand men in the city and armed ready to encircle and wipe out whatever army they sent. While Transnistria folds a little quicker than we first expected, we send territorial defense and special ground forces including reserves to Cherkasy to protect the city and face the army head on, while smaller defense forces including drone ops are sent to attack the spearhead from the sides and encircle the forces to split them in two and encircle them. Two of the three northwest Romanian forces, (These two west of the Carpathian Mountains, which are very hard to cross) are sent to Cluj-Napoca, where they meet up and take the city. One branch then goes to Oradea (To the west) and so claims a lot of Romanian countryside, while the other one goes south to Brasov, the most southern city north of the Carpathians, which are almost uncrossable. When these forces reach the Carpathians they split and sweep through northern Carpathian Mountains, taking over towns and promising freedom and more to any Romanians that join our army now instead of fighting. Eventually, after taking over Timisoara The north of the Carpathian Romanian countryside is surrounded, and we slowly close in, collecting recruits and easily rolling through small towns. In Moldova the forces stationed in Odessa that broke free march towards Tiraspol, Moldova’s new capital now that Chisináu, their owner capital was taken over by the encirclement (It’s also Transnistria’s former capital, ironically) Once Tiraspol is sieged and surrounded we call for the surrender of all Moldova or the capital will be leveled by our heavy artillery that was stationed in Odessa, not far away. With their hopeful surrender our drone ops forces can take out the spearhead up north and everyone marches south (except for the north carpathian forces, who are trapped by the mountains and ordered to keep peace and secure the countryside. The Navy, now stationed in Constanta, a former Romanian port is unloaded to shore, supported by the Galati spearhead coming to meet them. Joined by the army that was in Moldova, marching down near the Carpathians and taking Ploiesti (The city just north of Bucharest) they encircle Bucharest and threaten the war waging on if they do not surrender now, while they still can.
Quality over quantity……. Khay zhyve Ukrayina!
