Daisy trod around, flicking her weird green tail as she did it. She had absolutely no idea why she had it, but it had been there as long as she remembered it, and everyone she knew who was older than her said it had been there from birth. Daisy wandered around, and although she knew precisely what she was looking for -Orchid, her rogue group's healer had made sure of that- she had basically no idea of where to look. She knew only daisy and heather grew around the area she was looking, but maybe she could find a small cluster of marigold...? She leapt forward when she spotted a hint of yellow, but it turned out to be just a particularly orange daisy. "Daisy! How many times do I have to tell you marigold doesn't grow up her?" That was the exasperated voice of her mentor, Orchid. "It's nearly moon-rise and you still haven't found marigold yet... I'd started wondering if you'd gotten distracted, but turns out you were just looking in the wrong place. Again." Daisy had been training under Orchid for a good while now, long enough to know that during her mentor's lectures it was best to just bow her head and listen. When they finally got back, it was already night and Daisy could barely see. Her legs were sore from standing for too long, and her eyes hurt from being tired, so she walked to her den and curled up in her nest, letting the relief of being home wash over her. She closed her green eyes and let the sleep take her far, far away from her troubles with her mentor, and she dreamt all night.
