Funny thing about this- I was just thinking about how PERFECTLY the song ‘Run Rabbit’ fits one of my OC’s, Akello, when this popped up in ‘projects liked by Scratchers you follow’. Akello is a daemon, a man-eating shapeshifter that can live for over a million years and reside in a separate realm beneath the earth, Hel. Akello is the bride of the daemon Antonis, who is the unofficial king- people only defer to him because he’s one of the oldest and strongest daemons and punishes anyone who disobeys. Akello is currently around 20,000 years old, however she’s still not quite old enough to remember when the humans basically made the daemons extinct and pushed the survivors to cower in Hel. Nonetheless, Akello is one of the most rutheless daemons, personally dueling and punishing any of her husband’s challengers that do not vie for the throne. She has a son, Eris, and a late sister named Afrifa. Eris was one of twins, but his sister, Sylvia, died in infancy. Antonis also has another son with a daemon named Zeva named Taro, who is much more powerful than Eris- much to Akello’s anger. I hope to do more art of the daemon family, what with their giant soap-opera thing going on.
