Click/Space to next slide tw: death Basic lore: Mateo is the main character in this story. He is a thief, an orphan, and a loyal friend :) He is very opinionated on certain things and a bit stubborn. I don't want him to be a cliche oc but yes, both of his parents passed away. His mother got very sick and his father, from grief, ended his life. Because of this, Mateo has become stoic and self-reliant. He doesn’t trust easily anymore, and gets annoyed quite a lot, but he is very understanding if you get to know him. Before his mother passed, she gave him a red scarf. Mateo loved his mother dearly, so he wears the scarf every day. His bsf is named Jackie, and I'll probably make a ref for her too trust there's more to him I js don't want to publicize it I need to work on sentence structure ദ്ദി╥ ᴗ ╥)
