Lore: in the middle of an endless field of giant flowers and stumps lies the kiloroot tree, a gigantonormous tree representing the highest point in all of arpeggia. The roots of the tree spread several miles underground, leading to mountains and sinkholes forming around the base of it due to erosion. The estimated age of the tree is about 23,809 years old and doesn't show any signs of halting. The decayed leaves fall down into the world below in winter and blanket the surrounding world in a massive cave system of leaf litter. The canopy of the tree has lasted long enough for a new species of flower to evolve, known as the "Ever Blossom". This flower has formed a symbiotic relationship with the kiloroot where the flowers poison any parasites dwelling inside, and the tree provides near eternal sunlight for the flowers.
