Totalitarianism has taken over the world. It is your choice whether to embrace it or be the last bastion of hope standing for freedom. Current Year: 1984 -----Lore----- After World War Three broke out between the Soviet Union and NATO in 1947. This led to a breakout of nuclear war, with an atom bomb dropped on Britain, France, and the Soviet Union. When the war ended in 1951, the Soviet Union had absorbed mainland Europe, Britain was left bankrupt, and instability spread globally. To help defend against the new communist power, the US had absorbed Britain, Australasia, South America, and Southern Africa, forming the Union of Oceanic Municipalities (UOM), or Oceania for short. Meanwhile, the Soviet Union had decided to federalize itself, forming the Bolshevik Federation to defend against Oceania. Additionally, the Bolshevik Federation had waged war against North Africa for a while, eventually resulting in the formation of the New Republic of Carthage, which was closely linked to the Bolshevik Federation. This, however, would lead to massive amounts of instability, with a power struggle taking place for the next four years, eventually leading to total authoritarianism taking over the two superstates. Meanwhile, after the rise of Mao Zedong in 1949 in China, a quick but brutal campaign of surrounding nations had taken place, including the absorption of the Korean Peninsula, the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and a recently defeated Japan, resulting in the formation of Jiheng. In the former British Raj, civil war erupted after the British withdrawal in 1951, resulting in the formation of West Hindustan, funded by the Bolshevik Federation, East Hindustan, backed by Jiheng, and South Hindustan, backed by Oceania. In 1960, New Turkistan was formed in Central Asia to act as a buffer state between the Bolshevik Federation and Jiheng, with constant coups and border skirmishes taking place. The Middle East had collapsed into perpetual war in the 1960s, with the Iranian Khanate and Meccan Federation constantly fighting for control. Along with this descent into chaos and authoritarianism, the Savage Lands had emerged, where tribalism and constant domestic conflicts had rendered control of the region impossible for any power. The most notable of these would be in Central Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, and the Central Indian Subcontinent. In the present, history has been lost to the propaganda of each nation, and the line between fact and fiction has blurred considerably. The government reigns supreme over all activities, though occasional rebellions shake its control. -----Countries----- --Union of Oceanic Municipalities-- Airstrip One: @Niko2063 Airstrip Two: Airstrip Three: Airstrip Four: (These operate similarly to colonies of an empire.
