I had a guinea pig once; his name was Vader. He passed away years ago. We never knew why. Now we do. He had a shiny coat. In other words, Satin Syndrome. People breed guinea pigs to have soft, shiny coats, breed them to have Satin Syndrome, breed them to PASS AWAY AFTER 1-2 YEARS. Help spread the word.
