Our recent projects have costed us billions and our economy is currently in a downwards spiral. To combat this, we will make major changes to our nation. We implement a tax on everyone growing crops or raising livestock to hand over 10% of their yields to state food reserves. We also introduce a 15% income tax on all citizens making more than 100,000 a year. We extract more fossil fuels and offer to trade them to British Columbia, the Yukon, and other neighboring provinces. We set aside 5% of caught fish from vessels to trade. We also trade lumber and zinc for things we cannot easily produce such as microchips or medical manufacturing equipment. We mass produce propaganda, saying that our massive recent spending was neccesary to keep the nation from starving. We also make soldiers have priority food rations in an attempt to increase recruitment rates.
