Blerpusdorf, using its suspiciously large money reserves from before the Blerper Civil War, has now nearly entirely recovered from the destruction. The Second Republic has seen its first general elections. Martin van Dak, the founding president, obviously won re-election. Standards of living are back at previous levels. Trade has recovered; money is flowing back into the country. Overall, despite the carnage that nearly obliterated the country, Blerpusdorf seems to have come out of it stronger and more coherent then before. Emphasis on "seems". Behind the scenes, there's still a few unresolved issues. The corruption scandal that once dismantled the Big Seven's hierarchy was not entirely destroyed - so it has begun to grow again. Former General Ketz, still wanting at least a shred of control over Blerpusdorf, has begun to find ways to meddle from far off. A loose confederation always comes with some degree of autonomy trouble. And something new is brewing, with the potential to yet again alter the once peaceful, stable country. van Dak will have to find a way to navigate his creation through the turbulent seas of its first years, or watch it all crumble again, at the cost of his people. But that's all issues for later. Right?
