So I got bored and decided to make models of iPods! iPods have been my recent hyperfixation, and my iPod is a 4th gen nano in pink. It was only 15 bucks at Savers, which is an incredible deal for a mint condition 4th gen nano with no battery issues. Then, yesterday, I found a 1st gen iPod mini from 2005 for 40 bucks plus shipping. That is a damn good deal, but it’s untested. I don’t know what’s wrong with it, but I suspect it’s a battery and or hard drive, so when and if I get it, I’ll plug it in, see if it boots up, and if it dies right after being taken off the charger, I need a new battery. The reason this one being broken doesn’t make me want it less is because these are widely considered the easiest iPods to work on. Their motherboard, battery and hard drive just slide right out once you take off the plastic bits at the end, unscrew a few things and take out a metal bracket or smth. It’s super easy and requires no soldering. Anyways, I’m rambling, look at the damn project lol
