Ok, this has been stuck in my mind for a long time and I'm gonna talk here. It's about DTA (Draw to adopt), which is a common contest held in this platform. I like entering DTAs, especially if the characters are very charming. I've entered someone elses' DTA several times before and I drew a lot of things, like animation memes, arts, more. (From my memory I haven't won any, that's why I stopped entering past year) What makes me so frustrated is when someone wins the character and NEVER uses it again. Don't even draw it, they just claim that it's their oc now but never ever appear in anything. Think about the other people, who might've really wanted the character. (This was me lol) they put lot of effort because they actually wanted it. It's unfair how people judge base on their art instead of effort. I get that it's obvious you want someone who's good at art to have it. But for me, it doesn't make any sense. I'm keep remembering how I lost DTA even after years, because I wanted the character so badly. That's why I wanted to rant here a bit...
yes I think I'm very competitive, I constantly think about contests (both in Scratch and irl), the time when I lost.
