LOG: USER: CoderCoral ENTRY 27 XX-XX-21XX (DD-MM-YYYY) The Skeld gets kind of boring and monotonous sometimes. So sometimes, when work is finished, I like to think back to my past. And remember. Events. Places. People. And today I remembered a student in a class I taught. They enrolled in the last year I taught. Everyone called them "Stone." I never figured out their real name. Stone was a senior the last time I saw them in my class, 10 years ago. They played the tuba. And when I first saw them, I made assumptions. They looked tough, strong, cold, and uncaring, true to their name. They had an eyepatch, and they hated being approached on their blind side. They never told anyone how they got it. They weren't the best at band or math, but they always got the highest honors in English. They were quiet and serious, and no one messed with them. After all, they were very skilled at self-defense classes. They were one of the most rational people in my class. They didn't always adhere to the rules, but they did what they thought was just. Embarrassingly, it took me quite a while to see the other side of them. I watched them sit at the same bench by the trees every day at lunch. When they were alone, they were warmer and gentler, and they were always looking at the insects on the ground. They had 3 siblings, and Stone was always a great role model to them. They didn't like small talk, but they loved philosophy and biology. They wanted a career in nature: entomology. And then they graduated, and I left my teaching job, and I never heard about them again. I sometimes wonder if my students remember the music I taught them, and if they use the knowledge.
((... *looking at the monster of a monologue I wrote* OH MY GOODNESS. WHY IS THIS CHARACTER... SO GENERIC?!?!?!?! *pulls out hair* RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-))
