hi!! i absolutely adore these designs and immediately knew i had to break my dta hiatus to enter for one. to me, wisp’s design looked very ethereal and mysterious, and that, coupled with the name, brought up an image of a will o’ the wisp in my head. so i went with a more ghostlike story and song :) [lore] for some reason, a static noise fills lucille’s head whenever he tries to remember anything, or think at all. so he has no idea how he ended up trapped inside a spacious and vacant mansion, unable to interact with anything. soon, a knock is heard at the front door, and lucille looks to see who it is. …it’s him, but slightly different. the first-mentioned lucille realizes that the other lucille cannot see or hear him. first lucille also has a sudden realization that somehow, he is a ghost, watching his living self continue life unawares. however, if ghost-lucille adopts a different form, living-lucille will be able to see him. this form is a will o’ the wisp, which is why living-lucille eventually nicknames him “wisp”. wisp can try to save another version of himself from death (kind of like a parallel universe kind of scenario), and prevent lucille from making the same mistakes that he did. please tell me if this is understandable it makes sense in my head but idk how to write it out <//3
