Heyy these are just a few things I thought could be useful if you're a trans dude too! I don't think I've seen a ton of people talk about these specific tips a lot so maybe this will help <3 (a lot of these are tips for your mentality going into this, but i think they might be useful. ALSO click the screen for a few silly things :P) 1. If/When you can, take a picture whenever you feel masc. Put these pictures in a folder thing on your phone (i don't have a phone so idk what its called but you get the gist) or if you don't have a phone use a physical camera if you own one. When you look back on these specific pictures, you may think "I don't look too much like a man" but you FELT like one. That's what matters 2. When you start binding, it is completely NORMAL to feel neutral about it. Sometimes binding makes you hyper-aware about the features you want to hide, so euphoria is sadly not guaranteed. THANKFULLY there are other ways to achieve gender euphoria!! 3. PASSING IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT! You don't have to conform to other people's standards of what a man is supposed to look like. Some of you guys may not even have to option to pass due to needing to present as feminine. BUT THIS IS ONLY TEMPORARY 4. If you have to present feminine, remember that you're just a dude that looks like a lady. (ref) 5. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GIVE UP BEING POLITE TO BE MASCULINE! Just because some cisgendered men tend to be a bit rude, doesn't mean you have to. It's called a GENTLEman for a reason. 6. Your masculinity is your own, so you get to build it in whatever way you chose! THAT'S #@!&ING EXCITING!! Nobody is allowed to police you. You can and will be the person you were meant to be.
