Welcome to the BEYOND Ep. 4 OST Player! This is a compilation of all the music I've composed for @Hedgehogcool's new series, BEYOND! There are 4 tracks, and you can listen to each of them by pressing the number keys! Making this music was quite hard actually, because I'm not used to writing for orchestra. But everything turned out really good! 1: Venturing Beyond This song is ideally for the intro of the episode. The chords are mainly carried by the string quartet, and supported by the french horns. The piano picks up in emotional intensity in the second half, triggering the drums and the flute, which adds a quiet flourish to the higher registers. 2: Wandering Wind This is the first song I composed for the episode, and I think I may not have quantized it properly, because the rhythm is slightly wonky. It still works though! 3. Cycle Runner This is where the suspense and intensity begins to increase. The main driving force is the percussion, with the synth acting as the bass as well as the foundation for the chords, with the violas acting as a support and an extension of the chords, making them fuller and more defined. 4. Stand your Ground This is the song that taught me how to compose for orchestra. The bass is played by the tuba. The lower and middle registers are handled by the french horns and the choir. The clarinet provides flowing tones that separate the lower register from the higher ones. Finally, the trumpet controls the mid-to-high register, providing a warm and rich melody. I hope you like the music!
