click/space to see zoomed in version Nightfall, 14 moons, they/he/it/star tw, mentions of d3ath technically Nightfall sat in a field of grass as they gazed up at the starry sky. His pelt mimicked the spots that lit up the night. Crickets chirped as the wind blew softly through their fur. It was a quiet night. Star sat completely alone, away from any cats, with their own thoughts. How many cats that they knew went missing? Missing. What a lie they kept telling themself. First, their ma, Lily, went missing when the became a juvenile. Then shortly after their friend Trinket, a housecat, went missing. And now his sibling, River, was missing. He stared at the stars, hoping the sky would guide them. Maybe the stars knew where everyone went. Star was sure the stars knew. One day they would be able to hear the stars and learn where his loved ones went. It smiled at the thought. Nightfall curled up into a ball, not caring he didn't have a den to sleep in. The temperature wasn't too cold for their thick fur. Their breathing slowed as they fell asleep. // end! // ah poor nightfall, refusing to accept d3ath. art + writing @Chocolate_Cream374 music, drift away cover by Trillian
