Rush is a fast-talking, impulsive demon hybrid who hides a dangerous secret beneath his sarcastic and carefree attitude. Known for his absurd speed, chaotic humor, and constant habit of keeping one covered, he presents himself as someone who finds the entire world exhausting. Rush is cynical, easily annoyed, and quick to criticize almost everything around him, often acting like everyone and everything is beneath him. He treats most situations like a chance to complain, mock, or prove how ridiculous the world is. Despite his harsh attitude, Rush is not emotionless. In fact, his biggest contradiction is that he secretly enjoys having people around who can challenge him. He refuses to admit when he likes someone's company, instead disguising friendship and appreciation as "tolerance" or a simple desire to argue. Rather than openly showing affection, Rush hides behind insults, sarcasm, and exaggerated annoyance, making it difficult to tell when he is genuinely upset and when he is simply being himself. Rush is an unconventional kind of tsundere—not one who becomes shy or flustered, but one who aggressively insists he does not care while his actions prove otherwise. He hates the idea of being seen as soft, sentimental, or attached to anyone. He views relationships and emotional dependence as unnecessary distractions that could slow him down, yet he finds himself repeatedly drawn toward the few people who manage to break through his constant frustration with the world. His personality is built around contradiction. He claims everything is stupid, yet he can find enjoyment in the smallest things. He claims he dislikes everyone, yet he becomes strangely comfortable around those who understand him. He claims he does not care, yet he is often the first person to notice when something is wrong. Rush's way of showing connection is not through kindness or compliments, but through sarcastic remarks, arguments, and the simple fact that he chooses to stay. Despite his comedic energy, Rush is deeply driven by instinct and emotion rather than plans or structure. He hates feeling controlled, restricted, or underestimated, which makes him unpredictable both socially and in combat. His abilities border on cartoonishly impossible, fueled by a form of toon-force logic that lets him push reality to absurd extremes through sheer momentum, stubbornness, and willpower. To Rush, these impossible feats are treated almost casually—as if breaking the rules of reality is just another annoying inconvenience. But beneath the humor is something far more unsettling. Rush keeps his right eye closed at all times, something most people dismiss as a strange personal habit. In reality, it acts as a seal containing a mysterious light-like entity hidden beneath his eyelid. If that eye is ever forced open, Rush undergoes a horrifying transformation into an abstract, towering creature driven by violent instinct. In this state, he loses control of his own body completely, becoming trapped inside his own mind while being forced to witness everything the creature does through his own eyes. The transformation twists his body into a stretched, unstable form that feels less like a monster and more like a living containment failure. This contrast defines Rush as a character: outwardly irritated, sarcastic, reckless, and impossible to please—yet secretly someone who values the rare people and moments that manage to make his world feel less empty. Behind all the complaining and hostility is someone who does care, even if he would rather deny it forever.
