This is a request from the Christian branch/s of Scratch. My best friend had abu$!ve parents, and I don't think she's letting go. As Christians, we're supposed to forgive and forget and not hold on to bitterness. Well, I think that's what she's been doing. I went to a church conference last week. I 'm sure God was telling me to talk to her about it, but I need more wisdom. I don't understand what she went through, and I never will, but I don't want to see her hurt any more because of it. So, I'm asking for some advice from you Christians. Bible verses would be a HUGE help. (also, I'm, Baptist and a KJV only user. just a heads up) I really want to just sit down with her and talk about it, but I need advice. According to the Bible, true forgiveness is not only saying you forgive someone, but never bringing it up again. My friend keeps bringing up how her parents hurt her, and how her mom should be in j4!l or d34d. She brings it up on her own, no one asks her for it, no one even mentions anything close to the topic. As her best friend, I'm not entirely sure how responsible I should feel for her, but I sure feel a lot of it. so.... yeah. i need help.
