This was probably no surprise to anyone, but I honestly thought he would go to the Braves or Cubs or Yankees. The reason why I didn't think he would go to LA is because the Dodgers don't need him, because now they have an 8 man rotation with Ohtani, Yamamoto, Sheehan, Wrobleski, Sasaki, Lauer, and eventually they'll get back Glasnow and Snell with the acquisition of Skubal. They'll probably send Eric Lauer and Emmett Sheehan down to Triple AAA, and after that, a Dodgers 3-peat is almost guaranteed. They can't lose with a rotation full of aces, an above avg bullpen without a closer, (Diaz comes back in a couple weeks), and a top 3 lineup in all of baseball, both literally and statistically. I think I'm only shocked at the Skubal trade because of how OP the Dodgers are now entering the last 45-50 games of the season and of course, October. This could be the greatest group of pitchers on one team ever.
