Weevilpaw walked slowly through the forest, his eyes wandering around the Newleaf sights. Bugs tail flicked as he settled down underneath a tree. A warrior. He was becoming a warrior within two sunrises at the least. Bugs thoughts raced. He shouldn’t be panicking.. like Ann said, there was no real pressure on Vee directly. Weev’s claws raked the forest floor as he closed bugs eyes. Think positive… think positive! No.. it was almost impossible… Will stared at his paws in defeat. This was hopeless. How was bug supposed to be a warrior when he was just scared of everything!? Weevy was convinced he was a mouse-brain… Flapping wings startled bug, making his jump up, fur bristling. Oh.. oh no.. a small corvid stared at him with wide eyes. It was almost… cute… Willy stepped back, fur bristling. What kind of warrior was afraid of birds? Well, bug was… Weevil growled at the corvid, lashing his tail. The corvid hopped backwards…something like /fear/ flashing in its gaze. Was it… scared…? Of bug? Weev huffed, and whipped around. He began stalking towards camp, fighting the urge to sob for being so scared when suddenly, bug heard small hopping noises behind him. Weev flinched, seeing the corvid behind him. “G- get away bird..” Bug muttered, flattening his ears. Swishing his tail in attempt to scare the corvid, he stalked away. There was a flutter of wings. Vee stopped and glared at the corvid. “Why are you following me?!” The corvid cawed and hopped forward. Weevil froze. “What’s so great about me? I’m sure you could find a better cat to follow… like Tolypepaw.” There was a small encouraging caw. “Shoo… go away… go find a better cat.” Wow. Weevilpaw was talking to a bird… what could make him more of a fool… Another flutter of wings and then… thump! Claws were gentle on Vee’s shoulder. The bird. It was on. Bugs. Shoulder. He held his breath. “Get off me…” Bug hissed. The bird didn’t budge. Weevil took a step forward stiffly. The corvid remained on bugs shoulder. Finally, Vee sighed. “Do you actually like /me/?” Well, bug was still talking to a bird… The corvid’s feathers were wispy and curled, its red eyes gleamed with gentleness. “I guess… I’ll call you Wisp.” - - - *giggles* weevil’s stuck with a corvid now ehehehehhehehehe…
