I might be moving my animation off of scratch soon. I'm planning on trying to get a drawing tablet and switch to an actual animation program, which means I may be on here less or not at all later on. I find that features like onion skinning and multiple layers really helps me, which scratch does not provide in it's website (for obvious reasons, this isn't an animation program, it's a coding one.) What this could mean for my scratch community is 1 of 2 things, due to one of the only reasons for me to come on here being to animate: 1. I still come on scratch, but a lot less often This is what I hope will happen, because I don't want to abandon my scratch account of about 2-3 years It really then depends on what I'm making whether I'll animate and post it here or not. Less appropriate things will most likely become a youtube exclusive thing due to the amount of kids on here (and therefore, being moderated if I post on here) 2. I don't come back at all I really hope this doesn't happen but it's the most likely result. I only come on here to animate since I don't have a platonic connection with anyone on here yet. I barely come on here as is other than to check on notifications or to animate. I'm really sorry if this is the result.
THIS IS NOT HAPPENING IMMEDIATELY. This mainly depends on if I do find a easier program to use or if I even get a tablet at all, due to scratch being easier to use on PC for me. There's a good chance I won't completely leave, if I do at all. This account means so much to me due to it being one of the remnants of my childhood and the only proof I had that one of my friends was really suffering back then, which ended up with her getting help after I reported this to someone we mutually knew. I hope my journey here continues.
