Please read: Girls everywhere have the absolute right to be safe, get an education, and chase their dreams, but the truth is that the world still isn't a level playing field. While more girls are stepping into leadership and breaking barriers, they still face a massive hurdle: a toxic culture where some men and boys treat girls like objects rather than actual people. Whether it's being catcalled on the street, rated on their looks, or treated like a prize to be won rather than an equal, this objectification devalues who girls are and leaves them feeling unsafe. This behavior carries over online, where girls face an overwhelming amount of cyberbullying and pressure to look a certain way, alongside a global reality where millions are still blocked from school or forced into early marriage. Knowing your rights is power, but exposing these harsh realities shows exactly why we need to change how people are treated, ensuring every girl is respected for who she is.
