(continuation of this thread: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/32136994/comments/#comments-329226470 ) ====================================== The night was cold. Terribly cold. Barely even a sliver of light could be seen near the horizon, anything touched by the darkness consumed by it almost immediately. In the corner, a small tree, its leaves only beginning to grow back from the winter, stood, branches drooping, as if it was mourning those who had passed from the frost and the snow. Beneath its branches, nestled in a makeshift bed of leaves and twigs, still as the night from which he once ran into, Lay Burnetkit. The flames of their eyes that had once burned so bright, extinguished. The moth, an always steadfast companion, nowhere to be seen, having flown away who knows how long ago. Blackberries, once neatly woven into dark fur, lay smushed upon the forest floor, their juices returning to the soil from which they once came. No light would be shone upon his cold, still form again. No longer would he laugh, play, argue, fight, or talk with those he once considered clanmates. For once the night has claimed the heart of those unlucky enough to stumble into its domain, It will never let you go from its embrace. ====================================== Credits: Art by me Writing by me Song is Heart of the Prodigy by Falk Au Yeong as part of the No Straight Roads soundtrack
