So, this past week has been filled with news regarding D&D, mainly about the new crossovers with Star Wars and World of Warcraft, as well as the return of the Dark Sun setting, among many other things. Let me fill you in! First off, Wizards of the Coast (The company that makes D&D) has launched a new initiative, Universes Beyond. The first part of this new campaign is for a World of Warcraft setting, which is coming out in very late 2026 and early 2027. The next setting though, I like a lot more- Star Wars! This will be set in the Age of the Rebellion and will be released in about a year. Another setting, Dark Sun, which I made a project about a little under a year ago, has also been announced, which means the only version of D&D it has not been in was 5.0. However, at least 75% of you reading this will not be able to play it, as it is 18+. This is for obvious reasons, just look up it up, and you will see why. This comes out in early 2027. There is also a new setting that is not in the D&D canon, Death Saves. It is where the demons have won their war against the other evils, and have taken over most of the multiverse, barring the Material Plane, and everything has now been merged together by a deity's command. This is set for a bit more mature audience, although all ages can play. The release date is entirely unknown. Additionally, a new Greyhawk campaign has been created, Crown of the Witch Queen. It follows the Witch Queen Tasha's daughter and is set to take release around the same time as Star Wars. Also, Wizards of the Coast have announced that the main authors that helped shape the Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, and Dragonlance will start working on these settings again in the new D&D Icons line. Anyway, that is all to announce from GenCon, where all the D&D stuff was revealed. For D&D content coming out in the next months, check out Arcana Unleashed, which I might buy down the line. Anyway, that is all from Ace HoloNet Reporter @General_Skywalker66 ! Leave your thoughts down below in the comments.
