Before you ask--no, that is not my face. As the title suggests, there's been a change of plans regarding the TRTF series. First of all, where are the games? Well, they're still cooking, but I've been procrastinating on them for a while now. I think a part of that had something to do with my workload, specifically on TRTF2 Remastered. I had a lot planned for TRTF2; optional puzzles, minigames, collectables, overtime segments, and classic mode. I think all of that stuff I had planned was just too intimidating for me to take on. I can definitely do all of those things, but amount of systems and mechanics that would have to go into making all that and connecting it together sort of froze me in place for a while. So I've decided to scale it back a bit. I've also decided to remove a few modes from TRTF5 Extras, which is still happening, by the way. In other news, my plans for TRTF1 Plus are changing as well; I will no longer be using SFM for the environments and animatronics, instead I will be using assets from TRTF Desolation. The reason for this decision is that I realized that using SFM for everything in a game was a bad idea for a beginner like me, but I still plan on using it in TRTF3R, TRTF4R, and possibly TRTF5 Plus. I'm also changing things around for TRTF3 Renovated; the story will be completely rewritten, and the way playable characters work will be changed: instead of them each having their own specific office and unique gameplay, they will all share the same office and gameplay loop, with each of the characters having their own specific attributes, sort of like Frickbear's 3. As for The Dreadful Truth, I am currently in the process of completely rewriting it, as I have grown dissatisfied with the lore that I currently have, so now this revised version shall take its place as the canon lore. The first part should arrive soonish, but no promises. As for the other parts, I plan on writing them in tandem with the game that corresponds to them. So part 2 should arrive alongside TRTF2, part 3 should arrive alongside TRTF1 Plus, so on and so forth. I am also writing a Jeff the Killer rewrite, I probably won't post it on scratch, but I thought I'd let you know. When I'm done with TRTF, I'll prolly make either a Sonic game, or a Spider-Man game.
