A chroma key background removal tool. Scans an image, keys out a chosen background color using YCbCr distance with soft-edged alpha blending, and renders the result over a new backdrop. You can add your custom image by clicking see inside and uploading the custom to the "image" sprite. Make sure it doesn't go too far right - otherwise it will cover the sliders. Controls: quality — render resolution vs. speed threshold — how close a pixel needs to be to the key color to count as background softness — width of the feathered edge between subject and background key color — click the swatch to set what gets removed scan / render — capture the source image, then draw the composited result Credits: Thanks to @griffpatch for the Scratch cat artwork and for the quick color scanning technique this project's pixel-scan approach is built on.
