Leafhopperpaw woke up startled, different from other usual peaceful days. A nightmare. She dreamed of pure darkness, silently, slowly claiming her as its own. The world shifted again. Leaf had learned new things- about light and shadow, the story behind everything and anything. She... just couldn't understand. Why did this just /had/ to happen so suddenly? She was so young; merely an apprentice where all knowledge, all the pain, and everything changes? She wasn't sure what's even going on. She wasn't even sure if Delphine was good, or the Dark Forest and Starclan.. That knowledge and belief will have to be learned someday, right..? She didn't want to wander alone, no friends, no family, in no where when she d1es.. Everything seemed so sudden, yet they're so far away. Why couldn't she thought about this later? Everything that could be perfect.. never arrived the way they should be. The moment she realized it, all was too late. She learned of pain, hatred, broken friendship... Which Reminds her. The bracelet. The bracelet: A small sign of friendship between Nyx and her... it was so small, yet she was so hurt. Walking out of camp, trying to fake a smile... it seemed like the world's watching her. Judging her. And the worst? She couldn't escape those eyes. Never. Finally out in the deep forest, she breathed out a sigh. Freedom. Even it wasn't that much; She's stuck in here forever. Why should she ever think of escaping? Did she ever agreed to live here? No. But the chances of getting caught, everyone's judgamental looks, their face, getting into fights.. was simply too much. Unbearable. Besides, how could she survive? It's not like she's so experienced at all, considering she's just an apprentice.. She looked up. The familiar trees that she loved to climb, a favorite hobby to do.. Now, everything seemed broken to her. There was no answers at all, to her hundred of questions. She's alone. Silently climbing up a nearby tree, she looked down. Nothing. Nothing to shield her fall, no-one watching and helping her. As a so called 'answer', she heard cracks on her branch. Mouse-dung. Why couldn't she pick a better branch? Now, she'll fall into the ground, risking her life.. It's now or never. The small, fragile branch was going to fall any second. Gasping, she tried to dig her claws into the rough bark, hauling her up. She heard the branch fell down, broken into pieces. And her own claws was betraying her: They were slipping, slowly and slowly. She couldn't jump to the nearest branch, for there was no time. ... She felt herself falling to the ground. She couldn't do anything; she didn't even have a choice! Blinking back tears, she slowly stood up. Her friendship bracelet was dangling, on the edge of falling off now. Couldn't contain her anger, she ripped it into pieces. Looking at it one last time, she buried it under the soil. It was an end. To a friendship, and sadness. (ERP)
