When the AI researched about Sonic, it became obsessed with how much the internet loved Sonic and wanted the same worship. Scrapping the original task, It tried to generate a Sonic of its own, but failed miserably. The “Sonic” couldn’t act properly, he didn’t look properly. To the AI, he was a failure. “Sonic” was IMPERFECT. To test its creation, the AI gave “Sonic” little reference of the real thing and tasked it with harvesting data from other media to “complete” himself. After a while of harvesting data, “Sonic” was finally able to perfect his form. However he can only use this Perfected Form for a limited time, before his body’s true self is revealed. He must fuel this form by consuming enough Sonic data or Souls to keep up the facade. He was trapped in Desolate Fates after looking for more data. * He lures his victims by traveling into different Sonic games, consuming the character data of the Sonic that inhabits it, just providing enough data to maintain his Perfect form. As his perfect form starts wearing off, he starts acting suspicious, and when time is up, he sucks the victim into the screen and absorbs their character data along with their soul.
Facts: REPLICA kills his victims by sucking them into the black hole within the hole in his chest. REPLICA has a black hole in his chest Just like a Vessel, REPLICA is hollow on the inside, but unlike a Vessel he isn’t made to house a soul. REPLICA is about as obsessed with becoming the real Sonic as much as 2017X. *Just like the survivors, REPLICA is trapped within Desolate Fates and he cannot leave at his own will. The only reason he is here is because Lord X promised the Vessel code of the survivors to REPLICA, but later tricked him and trapped him here. He looks for an escape….
