The man stared down at the paper. How odd. He picked it up, grunting slightly as his back nearly gave way. He leaned heavily on the cane, reading the paper before scribbling in the answers. Maybe he was ready for more adventures, especially if these would be safer and more carefree. ▸ name Sergeant (title) Arthur Nguyen ▹ pronouns he/him (closeted she/her) ▸ age (average ages are from 18-24) 23 years old ▹ appearance: height, hair, eyes, etc I am 5 feet tall with 7 inches, with a lean stature. Arty isn't based on any character but the concept of the poem he's based off of. The whole concept is that in the end, nature is just fine without humans after war. He was a soldier, as it is noticeable and like many, he went into war all confident and naive and came out, friendless, traumatized, and utterly alone. He had spent all of his money recovering from his trauma and now, he has nothing to lean on. He started to work to earn money and noticed one day on a gardening work that no matter how much he tried to eliminate a certain weed, even if he left it alone or tore it out, it always came back like nothing happened. And it struck him. Nature didn't care what happened to humans or what they did. It always thrived and came back. So now he holds apathetic and nihilistic beliefs. Because in the end, nature will never care what happens to humans. ▸ personality: positive, neutral, and negative traits +: altruistic, passionate, loyal =: blunt, withdrawn, anxious sometimes -: nihilistic, apathetic (sometimes), impatient ▹ job, if applicable Former soldier, currently n/a ▸ birthday (this takes place in 2026) January 2, 2003 ▹ favorite book Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds ▸ backstory I used to serve as a soldier (he does not tell what war he did serve in lol) but after being discharged because of my injuries, I have been going from job to job to stay afloat. ▹ I like my coffee dark.
