Ellema Stratocirrus floated like a cloud. That was the first and only thing Chlorophyll Amethyst Tassletail could note before she was whisked away by a group of stylists. 'Greetings, Chlorophyll! My name's Cloudy!' a stylist mewed. Well, that was certainly in theme. 'It's oh-so-lovely to meet you!' 'You as well! Your fur looks amazing, by the way~!' Chlorophyll purred back, swishing her dark purple mane. A sibling to Dingdong Tassletail. Was that all she would become ...? No. She would be so much more. A high performer in the Games. A killer. And maybe even a victor if she was strong enough. Not if she won--when she won. Chlorophyll swished her tail--she wasn't dressed in anything besides her snake bracelet. She had some eyeliner and blush on, of course, but nothing beyond that. She had some makeup on her legs that made her legs fade into a glimmering gold, and that glitter was applied slightly on her fur. She stepped out, grinning widely after she waved goodbye to her stylist and makeup artist. 'Greetings~! It's so lovely to meet all of you! Now! Who's ready for some bloodshed?' Chlorophyll yowled. The first three seconds were always the most important, she remembered from Dingdong's training. Once the audience and sponsors weren't interested, one may have lost already. The crowd cheered, and Chlorophyll Amethyst Tassletail sat down on a plush red velvet chair, grinning and showing her amber tooth. Ellema leaned in closer, and Phylla could hear a faint ringing in her ears. 'First question! What's your relationship to your brother?' Easy enough question. 'Good! Except for one tiny thing~' Chlora turned, revealing her missing eye. Disabilities, of course, were debilitating and not to be blown up for attention. Well, in every situation except this one. The Capitol would certainly take /pity/ on her. Chlora's upper lip slightly curled in disgust, making the interviewer recoil in fear. Fear wasn't good. 'You see this, everyone? This is what happens when you anger Dingdong~ except in my case, I do believe it was entirely unjustified. A dangerous cat to be sure! But not more dangerous than me~' A satisfying answer? Perhaps. Perhaps not ... 'What an astounding answer~!' It had certainly seemed that her answer had caught everyone's attention. Good. Chlora grinned, swishing her tail. Everything was going to be okay in the end. And if it wasn't okay, it /wasn't/ the end. She was going to win. One way or another. 'Second question! What do you miss most about District Twelve?' 'Hmm. I'd say I'd miss my family. 'Specially my brother. Without him, I am nothing. But I can do plenty on my own! You wanna see what this feline can do~?' The crowd cheered, and the lights dimmed slightly. A faint glow emanated from her makeup, bathing the interviewer in amber-golden light. Her heart marking on her chest shone. 'Wanna play a game? I love games! You can say your third question now, silly!' At 'silly,' Chlora assumed an offensive position and subtly prepared to pounce. The more of a show she put on, the better. Holographic pigeons began to form in the air--a nod to her brother's interview. She left them alone, letting them setting all around them to create a ring of holographic amber light. And this cloud ... would be sure to dissipate. Chlora would ensure it. Ellema would not walk away in one piece. Or would she? Was Phylla going to be merciful this time? 'Third question! What's your relationship with Clover?' 'Oh, she's absolutely amazing! I just love her--as a friend, of course! She kind of rejected me~' With her tone, the audience couldn't tell if it was a joke or not. They laughed anyway--then laughs turned into resounding, deafening cheers. Drowning out the ringing in her ears, Chlora playfully pounced on the interviewer, grabbing an improvised ketchup packet in the dim light and wiped it on Ellema's nose--along with some amber dust. The interviewer's eyes shone as if she was blessed by a god ... which Chlorophyll may as well be. Chlora got off the interviewer, grinning. 'Guess you'll jus' have to wait for prom to see more of me~! Tune in to find out if the Tassletail siblings will reunite after all~' And in a poof of orange dust, Chlorophyll madly ran to the exit--in the dim light, she was undetectable. She was gone.
