This is a tool I have been wanting to build for years. Now I have finally figured it out. It takes a single olor value and changes it into RGB values. When making it, I thought to myelf, "why do the RGB values only go up to 255 and not 256?" after all, 256 is a base 2 number, or the value of the 9th digit in binary. There are two reasons I came up with. Using 8 digits in binary, or one bite, you can create a value up to 255 at the highest. Next, when you convert RGB values into a single number, you add the sums of the values, except you multiply green by 256 and red by 65536, or 256^2. So, when you increase blues value to 255, the next number is 256, which is 1 added to the green value, which wraps blue back to 0.
