The Oracle, believing herself to be rather shrewd, Smiled at the Liar she had forever subdued. So focused on the life she culled, That she failed to consider the Spirit she dulled. Forced to flee by her threats, She never saw what such loss begets. The Spirit, believing her mother to be rather dependable, Stood back and didn’t realize the Lie was expendable. So focused on the certainty of her horizon, That she failed to consider the past it relied on. Forced herself to flee before she reached a conclusion, She did not learn to accept that there was never a solution.
