I know i might be saying something some people may not like, BUT, this is meant to be written in a context of constructive criticism, a way of contributing my opinion on possible improvements and some things i feel like make the ending a bit worse, now that ive said that let me explain. The amazing digital circus is a very high quality and amazing watch, but i feel there are a few problems with the ending, ill be structuring this in segments. 1. Unsatisfying: The ending feels unsatisfying, for example many characters did not get exactly what i feel shouldve been satisfactory. I think it would be more satisfying if they were able to find a way to unabstract people, however i feel it may have come with a small drawback, or even without one. I feel like it may be more satisfying for the cast to find a way to exit aswell, but still end up visiting from time to time. 2. No consequences Most characters were simply forgiven instead of facing consequence, for example, it may seem weird but jax didnt really face consequence, he abstracted but it feels like he got off too easy, and avoided any real confrontation. Caine did a few confusing things that ended up not really feeling like he got a real punishment, he may have lost power but this doesnt feel right, the internal struggle was a very good subject for conflict but it feels like him simply letting it go wasnt enough, i think it should have ended up as a fusion, caine and the blue dot merging and learning to understand the problems and struggles the characters face, learning off of the images and text like its been shown to do (only to images but i feel that it could do text) I feel that caine should have apologized and let them go, aswell as find a way to unabstract people. 3. darkness Darkness feels like a bit of a cheap shot, having kinger in the dark with his wife felt ok, it feels like she was able to focus on kinger and regain some sanity, but it working on everyone doesnt make sense, if they cant come back from abstraction, then how does that work? especially since the cellar would be perfect place for unabstraction 4. Rewatchability I feel like the show just doesnt have much rewatchability other than for recognizing iconic moments or funny moments, i think a show needs to have a plot that will have the viewer always feeling like they can piece together the things, and ultimately feel like its still a fun watch, the pilot feels as if it was a fun first watch, but the second time felt boring, with a few 1 off jokes If you feel like arguing after that, comment IEO before the comment, it doesnt stand for anything i just dont care for people going "NO YOURE WRONG TADC IS GREAT!!1!" without a counterargument that gives good evidence or any persuasion
DO NOT COMMENT AN ARGUMENT UNLESS YOU HAVE COUNTERARGUMENTS, ANY OTHER ARGUMENTS WILL BE DELETED
