Arrow keys to move player, WASDQERF to move camera In this demo, you can see the player do a complete physics pass against 100 seperate tilemaps. Each tilemap has its position, rotation, and scale. In this case, their Y position, rotation, and scale is constant, but it doesn't have to be :D -------------------------------------------------------------------- So, you might be wandering why I need 40 or so lists to create such a seemingly simple platformer game. Well, the answer is, once the game increases in complexity over time, weak engines will fall apart. And the benefits of this engine will become more and more clear the more complex the game gets :) Anyways, in this demo, the tilemap router has been completely revisited. It is faster, modular, and arguably way more powerfull. Next steps: Making a proper level editor and player physics that allows for making the full game.
