Watch Verity on yt before reading this if you haven't, major (I think?) spoilers ahead I'm late for this but whatever Okay. I can't explain how I've been feeling about this lately, it's just- AHHHH. I loved Verity so much. I love Minecraft. I love seeing people make use of the little things they have to make something cool like this, my older brother is in a group of other teenagers making movies with vrchat, seriously, I think that kind of thing is awesome. First of all I love how silly it was at the start (aside from the first clip we don't talk about that). It looked like normal modded Minecraft gameplay. I swear, Verity's big smile makes me SO FREAKING HAPPY IDK WHY T_T It makes me smile and giggle and I just love him so much. Though I do think people don't get that he actually doesn't know everything. He knows straightforward, basic facts, being literally anything Minecraft related and almost everything going on in your world, anything you can look up on the internet, and anything his users do since he has full access to their devices. Hey look Mob has a fear of windows just like me/hj ALSO someone PLEASE give Whispy a raise, that acting was PERFECT for Verity. Also in DrDonut's livestream with Whispy.. dude, I could not roleplay like that if my life depended on it my voice SUCKS. The ending though... That scene has been replaying through my mind constantly, like- I genuinely don't know what to think. The ending was perfect. Nothing needs to change. So perfect in a way that AUs just aren't satisfying, AT ALL. And it pains me so much knowing how sad and how fitting the ending was at the same time. Because honestly, I get what Verity went through, I have felt that before. Not the feeling of a friend's d3ath, but the reality of not having any real friends. No matter how many people you meet, nobody is right, nobody treats you like a real person. They just stick around until they don't need you anymore. (I do have online friends but I mean in the past, I promise I'm not neglecting anyone I just don't know how to talk to people. :/) In my opinion, the worst pain *anyone* can experience is loneliness, it can easily, slowly break a person (grief is a different case depending on your beliefs). Every time I make a BFDI AU in my head, I literally *have* to give One a happy or bittersweet ending. Why? Because she is one of the most relatable characters I've ever seen. One *started* my BFDI obsession if I'm being honest. (I really think both Mob and Verity were wrong in the end, Mob took the shot out of hatred, knowing that would be the worst thing Verity would ever experience. Verity was lonely, but that didn't give him the right to do *anything* he did.) Verity AUs are never satisfying because, once again, the ending was just perfect. Too perfect honestly. It genuinely makes me really sad. I don't really know what to say. I guess just- thank you Mob for making such an amazing series, even if it felt so short. I love do BFDI, but I don't think they're going to beat this in TPOT 25. (Verity fans are throwing bricks at me with these animations </3 rubbing salt on an open wound) Anyways, thanks for listening to my yapping. God bless you! <3
Bro you already know that music (Isn't she lovely by Stevie Wonder) I'm really sorry about the things I said I was going to do and never did, I promise I'll try to do them I'm just kinda overwhelmed because my parents started restricting everything, but they forgot about my scratch account, so basically everything I do on here is behind their backs, meaning I don't get much time on here I also have a lot of things I want to work on (coding games, learning to animate, etc) that my parents don't support me on, I tell my dad "I want to code a game" and he says, "oh cool" and doesn't bother with it after that, just kind of forgets, not like he totally forgot I mean he doesn't care, he wouldn't ask me if I want to get into some sort of coding class or ask me if he can teach me a bit of coding also I desperately need to work on my art cus I have no skill
