behold.. art.. of Gigi Murin.. am 90% sure there’s over 50 shades of Gigi some of these include the seiso-sounding JP Gigi the one that spent ~10 minutes rolling gacha to get a specific 5-star card (where’s my luck?) a Gigi whose originals make me cry the one who reports an official chart because she can’t beat it a third holodori Gigi who is very wise the one from T.A.N. that must watch way too much reality TV and this one the one whose voice sticks in my head every time I hear the cover and the OG .. this took me like three and a half hours I think there’s little notes to myself at the bottom you don’t need, “Gigi Murin — Hololive English -Justice-” to say “hi this is who I drew and this is what she’s from”, and everything else is some of her lyrics don’t sue me please I was careful design not mine obviously <3 she did a cover a while ago and I. Absolutely love this cover so I finally made art of her for it.. her lines are also the best trust the designer made hair designed to drive me insane I spent like an hour on head and hair and neck they made me tweak I always take like an hour when drawing hair/head/neck though different shades of gray (coughs aggressively I hope a grem finds this btw can I summon one) and black for different parts of the outfit.. wasn’t going to shade or detail everything but the light feathery gray is for bandages(and the orange on her tail), darker gray ranging on black is supposed to be for her shirt sleeves (patterned black against orange) her tail base and her atrocious shoe that the designer kept and I’m crying happily over because look interesting shoes She’s holding a whats-it-called a drumstick because apparently she plays drums in the MV.. I couldn’t see since whoever made it decided to harass us artists by putting these annoying light splotches over everything + she had like knuckle dusters or smth on that blocked fingers (took that off ofc) BUT since Liz had a mic and Raora had a guitar I thought it was safe to assume In case any grems decide to jump me yeah I removed all the necklace/choker junk because I wasn’t fighting that even with a clear reference and I removed the cross under her eye (special to this design) because. There’s no eyes. I wasn’t fighting a face on top of hair her hair is super epic trust it’s like half blonde half brunette idk two-tone maybe I’m dumb don’t make me use my brain here please.. ahoge I did last ngl I was gonna draw a comparison from one of her OGs featuring a different design that’s like. 100% more pure than this one but decided against it because I mean there’s.. no room.. been listening to Fijua playlist this entire time and was experimenting with lowering my voice at the same time, maybe I’ll yap about that separately BUT THIS IS ABOUT GIGI her design is officially based off a gremlin from like the movie or smth (I’ve never seen it) complete with sharp razor teeth, and OG design hood probably has some like easter egg to it respect to the artist but I wanna fight them at the same time wdym you drew her hair differently like three different times?! Pose stayed the same but the hair length changed? oh my dio but that’s not the point- it’s a really cool hairstyle though imo if anyone puts their hair up like this you’re cool trust would’ve shared my 11 reference images (only used like ~5 of em but since the MV showed like no fullbody shots at all I was like “I don’t wanna have to go back through again”) but A I’m pretending I did really good and B probably best I don’t cram all of em here anyway okay I’m done yapping I can sing now instead of focusing on not smudging the paper happy sobs Don’t care at all fall deeper till I can’t quit, never gon stop cause I don’t have a limit /lyr it’s more Gigi lines from an OG Justice song I tip my hat to anyone who knows that
