Hello, hello! Metalmarkpaw is starting a small group in Mossclan called The Cirque! This is open to Mossclan cats and Loners/Kittypets only, though some exceptions could be made. [4] OORP [5] OORP and INRP prizes [6] Ranks [7] Signup -------------- Who is Metalmark? ---------------- Metalmarkpaw is a young apprentice in Mossclan who aspires to be the world's greatest spy. This isn't her only goal, though. See, she wants to be known. If she isn't known, then what's the point? Xey are ambitious and a bit of a backstabber. She carries around a small staff with a funnel at the top that somewhat amplifies her voice over a short distance (like a megaphone). With this staff, she builds up on her hobbies and narrates events or certain aspects. -------------- What is The Cirque? ---------------- TC is a group based solely on flashiness and distractions. In a way, it is a fighting group, but that's not their main attraction. Instead, Metalmark wants cats to focus on the narration aspect, without using blood or violence for attention. The Cirque acts like a circus, where every week, cats will be picked to fight. Claws and teeth are discouraged, and instead, the more complex or impressive the move, the more points you gain. Fights are voted on by other members of The Cirque, and the winner will receive a crown of assorted quartz, and many other unofficial accessories if they continue to win. The only rule for fights is that it has to be plausible. Fights take place in a large underground cave. No, your cat cannot fly across the cave from one bound. But they are encouraged to dazzle the audience as best as possible, and maybe climb the rankings as a showcat. -- How can you join The Cirque and what does it mean? -- Joining The Cirque is simple. It means befriending Metalmarkpaw, or a high ranking showcat, and proving your loyalty to their code. In The Cirque, you will not use your claws against another clanmate of Mossclan, or against the cats in The Cirque. After pledging your loyalty, you'll be thrown into the first fight as initiation. Lose to the other showcat, and you have to try again another week and cannot earn any prizes until you prove yourself worthy to The Cirque. -------------- OORP ---------------- Out of roleplay, The Cirque works like this. Every week, two cats will be chosen to 'fight'. You must complete this thread in the comments of the fighting project (not yet made) before the start of the next fight. To join this group, you must have roleplayed with Metalmarkpaw once and be able to spy on threads. Each vote from a member of The Cirque equals 2 points. "Spying? You didn't say anything about spying!" Metalmarkpaw is a "spy". And encourages cats close to her to spy as well, and report their findings back to her. Spying on a thread or committing any stealth-related crime will increase your total score by 3 points. Failing multiple fights in a row results in temporary banishment from The Cirque until Metalmarkpaw is convinced otherwise. (literally go spy on someone interesting and tell her about it and you'll be let in.) -------------- OORP and INRP prizes ---------------- Every time a cat wins, they will be given a woven crown of assorted colored quartz and berries. This is not an official accessory and was made purely as an incentive. The roleplayer may decide the colors and size of the crown. If a cat racks up a streak of wins, each consecutive win will give them a new accessory. Out of RP, each win gives you one option. You can choose between an official accessory from the list here . Or you can choose a piece of artwork for your character.
