IGNORE EVERYTHING STATED PREVIOUSLY, IT CONTAINED OUTDATED/INCORRECT INFO, the changes have been REVERTED. Saucefy has stated that he is unable to make the hitboxes better in a platform like Roblox where even small ping has a significant amount of latency. He has been trying to find a fix for a while now, but it would require incredibly complex prediction systems that are above his current skill level (I’m getting this from the wiki btw where his statement has been uploaded there). He also has debunked people’s claims and uncertainty about not him caring about criticism, which is nice because his previous message did seem to be a little bit careless to lots of people (including me, but I decided to try and look past it). Unfortunately, (and I’m not saying this because I fell for the ‘compliance method’ or anything, I didn’t mind the hitboxes that much to begin with, but I wanted some slight tweaks. I would rant about them as much as I did with the precode hitboxes) there will never be PERFECT hitboxes. The complexness of it and unavoidable latency will always be an issue, and there will likely never be a scenario where everybody likes a hitbox system in its entirety anyway. Everyone has their own opinions, so some people not liking a feature of a game is inevitable. Saucefy also fixed the plentiful bugs that came from the previous patch, such as: -frybomber being buggy -using bugle in the noisemaker synergy making you unable to run or use abilities permanently -rerolling flashlight causing you to be unable to use abilities I was in a lot of servers yesterday of people who were unpleased, to say the least, with Saucefy over this change. More people need to be patient and realise that the devs are people too, and everyone makes mistakes sometimes. (AGAIN, DO NOT HARASS ANYONE OVER THIS) Also I met a YouTuber in DOD yesterday eeeehehehehe I’m so freaking awesome right guys? Hello??
