Fun stuff, PEAK LORE: Before the total collapse on earth, there was a VR software that allowed you to transfer your consciousness to a drone. It was completely custom and made just for you. Riku was logged in when the collapse happened. But when her human body died, her consciousness lived in the data stored within the drone. The full transfer was excruciating, binding her mind into the drone heart. In her confused state, Cyn found her and erased her memories that were found unnecessary and blocked the rest. She woke up in a buzzing body, with an odd thirst for something she couldn't pin. Her implanted memories told her that her name was Serial Designation- K. Her objective: find and dispose of all worker drones. With the same JC Jenson company stuck in her brain. But, since she was originally human and not completely data, she also could see through that this all felt terribly wrong. She didn't know why, but it sounded wrong to hurt others. But the first lick of oil on the wind unleashed an undeniable thirst. She scraped what she could off of drones already long gone. K feared what she was. On Copper 9, even in passing she had seen other disassembly drones in action, ruthlessly taking down drone after drone. She wondered if they too ever felt wrong. One day scraps weren't enough. Her head spun as she woke up from her daze, leaning against a tree for support and oil trailing down her chin. Her energy was back and she felt cool. But when she looked down at her hands to see a fresh arm grasped in her own hands like life or death, she felt crushed. K slumped down in the snow, defeated. N was out on a hunt, and was drawn by the smell of fresh oil. Since he joined Uzi's side, he had been trying to do less damage to the worker drone population. Which meant finding already... done away with.. drones. But what he found was a trail of drones and oil, and a shaking figure in the snow, wings tucked tight. Soo, fun right? Obviously K goes with N because he doesn't seem as violent as other disassembly drones. She meets Uzi and the gang and they take over the world together!! Jk, they take care of the Absolute solver and stuff and K gets her few memories back, which includes that she was originally human, and other bits and pieces of her life as a drone before Cyn. She never fully recalls her past or her name, but it's fine because N gave her the nickname 'Kit' because baby foxes are called kits. Which are cute and look like her. Also, when she was customizing her drone as a human, she chose male legs because they looked better. Upon realizing they were for the male model, she also realized that she couldn't undo her previous choices. No, this doesn't affect the rest of her, its honestly mainly aesthetic.
also yes ears are part of her and they are part customization, part actually helpful for hearing. another tidbit since I can't make myself too powerful- Kit has wings, but they are small and not super powerful, so she can't fly on her own, only glide.
