!! [why are literally all the projects in this account manager applications lol] Intro: Hey there! My name is Khalid or Kaz, and I've been a DBD member since October 2025! I'm currently 16 and my time zone is CST. I am a manager for The Achillean Association we're not very active right now though. I was also a manger for some other smaller queer studios such as the The Sapphic Society as well. - Why I would be a good manager: I want to become a manger versus I enjoy being a bigger role in social studios. I think there's lot to improve on, and I want to make the studio fun regardless of if they are a manager or a curator. Responsibility: Being a manger is a big responsibility, which can include making sure people follow rules, keeping on the design delay, watching out for trolls, and overall keeping the studio safe. It also means you need to be able to collaborate with others, have problem-solving skills, and know how to enforce rules in a professional way. - Upsides: - I have dealt with trolls and know not to interact with them - I can enforce rules -I am approachable, which is good for when others need help or advice -I've been a memeber for almost a year, which means I am familiar with most people and rules in the studio - Downsides: -I can be argumentative -I'm not that familiar with sockpuppet accounts -I may take breaks from most of the internet sometimes -I'm not always great at knowing the solution to a situation - Suggestions and outro: I think having a better way of implementing the design delay would be great, like maybe if the delay is at a good number, we'd play a small game tocelebrate. I also think chatroom etiquette should be something more regularly promoted, as well as something to teach others how to deal with trolls even outside of DBD, but the wider internet.
