the song is "rock and roll aint noise pollution" by ac/dc, covered by me this was one of the best days of my life hands-down. i am likely one of the biggest ac/dc fans and nerds to ever scrape the planet. ive listened to them at least once nearly every day for the past 3 years, and on that day (may 16, 2025), i was very lucky to finally see them perform live i have no one else to thank other than my mom, my dad, and my aunt for making my 4 separate dreams come true (and maybe angus, malcolm (rest in peace <3), brian, and the rest of ac/dc for, like, making the band i guess :sob:) i have several videos and photos of this concert. however, i will only give you guys these 5 images in this project. there are images i have shared with others, and many more i will likely never share online due to them containing personal information (my face) so yeah uh lemme tell ya da story i think it was around christmas time. we was gettin gifts, blah blah blah, then i see a picture frame of some ticket purchases for an ac/dc concert in tampa bay florida (since i reside in florida). i was OVERJOYED and hugged my parents and yeah. i was a bit concerned about the pricing though. fast forward to may, my dad and i go on this long-ish car ride. i assembled a playlist which was composed of everything ac/dc (i sprinkled in some other artists to keep my dad sane dw). we went to a hotel, and i recorded some silly lil videos of me goofing off, blah blah blah. the next day, before the concert we actually went to a vintage car museum. they had a LOT of neat stuff there, but what amazed me was that they had a DELOREAN. as someone whos also a fan of back to the future, this made me like, HAPPY in all caps. it said not to touch it, but i wanted to just FEEL the (not-so) stainless steel. i didnt, however then, when the time finally rolled around, we found a spot in the grass somewhere and parked by raymond james stadium. we stuck around for a bit since it was a while before the concert actually began. my dad bought some bootleg ac/dc horns, and since im a bit cautious i didnt accept them since it was kinda shady but it was all good. we walked towards the stadium and stopped by an OFFICIAL shop, which is where i bought several ac/dc related merchandise which i still have today, including the tampa poster which is hung up right behind me as im typing this out. we headed up to our seats, got some water, bought some more ac/dc stuff, and found our spots. we sat down and kinda waited as the stadium slowly filled up with thousands of ac/dc fans (i was the only one with a tophat and a pencil gimmick of my kirby sona ;3). some band that was pretty good opened for them, i enjoyed their music. i forgot their name, but they seemed pretty reckless. then, finally, a neat lil animated clip played, and then the band ALL of us were waiting for came onto the stage lemme tell ya, they were LOUD, and i mean INCREDIBLY loud. so loud that it was hurting my ears from all the way up where i was at. they likely played so loud that the entire city probably heard their music. luckily, i brought headphones with me so that i could properly enjoy them. i stood up and bounced about the ENTIRE CONCERT. i was NOT gonna sit down, i wanted to soak in every moment i could, and so i did and i do not regret a single BIT of it. the only other concert i went to, being the trans-siberian orchestra, was NOTHING like this dude. like this was AMAZIIIIING~ >w< 10/10 my favorite part of the concert was probably the end when they closed off with "for those about to rock (we salute you)" as they usually do, which feature cannons firing in the original song, and thus they also had stage cannons to go along. when the cannons fired, i couldnt only hear them but i sorta FELT them too, they felt like ACTUAL cannons firing. it was fricking NUTS. then when they finished the song, fireworks and fire shot up and i could FEEL THE FIRE TOO. like WHAT afterwards, we stayed a bit and my ankles were SORE due to me standing and jumping around for like an hour and a half straight. we made our way back to the car and my ankles were still in pain but i didnt care too much. i was still "thunderstruck" by that concert (and in a sense i still am, a year later). we made our way back to the hotel, got up in the morning and made our way home thank you ac/dc, thank you dad, and thank you mom so much. i owe it all to ya i cant wait to do the same thing again with my aunt next month ;3
