Alr so E.M.B.E.R. (no i wont tell u what that stands for) is an alien that came to earth and was discovered by the government (this is NOT one of those "oh so woe is OC; they were tested on by scientists and were treated cruelly and eventually escaped and took revenge!" NO.) they were reasonably examined (checked for disease, new biology, etc. but NOT TESTED ON (omg why does everyone think the government is going to treat an alien THAT poorly i mean come on we HAVE morals i think)) and then they were discharged and put under surveillance (because they are slightly radioactive, somehow having a portion of their body made up of beryllium (i dont actually know if this is the element but i know it starts with a b) yet still being stable enough to live (and be around living beings). They are constantly and randomly producing methane gas from their body (usually from their shoulders) and superheating it with the almost 1750 degree (926 degrees Celsius (Fahrenheit just makes more sense to me srry)) internal temperatures that also escape, causing EMBER to seem constantly surrounded by flames. They live with Stick and his wife due to their "experiences with beings not of this world", as it is put. I'm sorry if this was too BORING for you, but not everyone NEEDS an action-packed, heartbreaking or sad backstory BECAUSE I NEED TO FOCUS ON WRITING THE AcTUaL STORY THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
