"where are the people?" maybe its better to ask, "how are the people?" why did they leave? trauma? fear? boredom? for how barren it all is, boredom may be the answer; im getting so bored of this game im writing a story about it! but no. the city used to be sprawling with people. every day, people would come out of their houses to greet their neighbors. people would have gatherings every week, filling the roads with roars of laughter. you may ask yourself, "why leave? it sounds nice?" truth is, they never intended to. they were forced to leave after the strange men arrived. now you may ask yourself, "i dont see any 'strange men.' why won't they come back?" believe it or not, the strange men are still here, although you may not be able to see them.
